John 1:4-5 (New Living Translation)
The Word gave life to everything that was created,
and his life brought light to everyone.
5 The light shines in the darkness,
and the darkness can never extinguish it.
Just like that, God flipped the switch and there was light.
And the darkness can never extinguish it.
Never is a long time, but that is the promise from a God who fulfills promises without fail.
